At Shuttails, we are proud of how we handle, introduce and integrate our dogs into the family.
Knowing certain dogs are extremely social and companion hungry Shuttails has devoted it's days to ensuring these animals get enough exercise,attention and are exposed to other dogs in the pack.
Through dog walks we focus on the integration and socialisation of different dogs, paying close attention to the diverse behaviours and personalities of our hounds. We create different packs that are compatible in size and temperaments. Our aim is to create a consistant routine for hounds and offer them a positive outlet along with something to look forward to during the day.Â
Taking advantage of Cape Towns dog friendly trails, the dogs are introduced to new surroundings that offer them an abundance of stimulation out in nature.
Our clients get to go about their daily business knowing their beloved hounds are in the care and protective hands of myself and team.
We pride ourselves as a trusted partner in bringing value to the canine community through reliability, trust and adventure all while donating a percentage of our takings to a charitable cause.

Dog Walking
Walking dogs is Shuttails primary focus, we know that walking your pooch on a regular basis is one of the greatest investments you can make for the well-being of your fur baby. Not only is it great for their physical well-being but also has a huge positive impact on their mental state.
While on walks a doggie treat along with water checks will be provided, dog walkers will also be implementing basic training instructions such as working on dogs recall and basic commands. The primary focus on the dog walking service is to get the dogs their recommended exercise and stimulation they required.
Frequent walks and outside stimulation reduces behavioral problems such as destructiveness, social anxiety, boredom and depression.
Daily exercise improves cardiovascular fitness, healthy bones and muscles, walks are essential for your pets health. Pack walks are brilliant for eliminating certain insecurities and is great for boosting confidence in your dog. The goal is to create a healthy living dog society. Pooch mums and dads can follow on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to see there fur babies in action.

House / Pet Sitting
As an extension to ensuring that our clients pets are well exercised and entertained, we know that leaving pets for long periods of time can be a traumatizing experience.
Our dogs can feel our absence immediately, this pining can lead to excessive barking, howling, whining and in worst cases self injury. Our professional house sitting service will ensure that your dog/pet is well looked after, making sure that water is always topped up and they receive meals on time. Clients can request that plants/grass gets watered and poop gets scooped. Other requests can be discussed.
